CD Browsers, also called Teaser Applications,
are intended to provide instant feedback to the
user when they insert an AutoPlay CD. Additionally,
they provide a simple, easy to use method of running
or installing an application, looking at folders
or content.
Although the functions of Autorun are rather
simple to implement, the application that runs
as instructed by Autorun.inf can be difficult
to author. Based on the very nature of the Autorun
function, it provides the first impression of
an application.
